Now when we hear about the whole “New year, new you!” bull that the media push down our throats at this time of year, we think about weight loss, exercising more and drinking less, eating healthy etc but why not think about that new career you have always dreamed about?
Many people come and scuba dive on Koh Tao and take away with them amazing memories and friends as well as their SSI Open Water Diver certification, all of which are thinking, “I wish I had a job like this!” So why not make 2019 the year that you leave your glum, grey job behind you and trade it all in for the picturesque, tranquil setting of the ocean as your new place of work?
Here at Mojo Divers Koh Tao you can do exactly that! We offer professional training for all levels of diving experience and we go above and beyond the minimum training requirements to ensure you have the best education possible to give you employment opportunities all over the world.
No experience in diving? Don’t worry, you can make this career change in just 6 months! You will work your way through a series of certification programs starting with the Open Water Diver certification and spending the most amount of time becoming a divemaster. This is the first level of professional training and is where you will learn the majority of your scuba diving, leadership and diving industry skills and this is also the phase of training considered by most as the best part!
2 to 3 months of waking up to the sunrise over the lush green mountain tops of Koh Tao? Taking a 5 to 10 minute leisurely stroll down to the serene and peaceful beachfront? Jump onto a longtail that takes you out to our spacious dive boat. After a few short minutes on the boat you will have 2 amazing, fish-filled dives in crystal clear, 29 degree water, each followed by some time spent basking in the glorious Thai sunshine. Once the morning fun is finished, you can go and eat lunch at one of the many delicious local restaurants located just a stone’s throw from the dive center. Once refueled, you have the option to go out and do it all over again if you want on the afternoon dive schedule! How does that sound?
